BIMstudio – Innovating the Canadian Construction Industry

BIMstudio is a company specialized in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and on a mission to innovate the traditional Canadian Construction Industry. BIMstudio creates 3D Digital Models for Residential Projects that help their clients visualize and manage construction projects. They have developed a unique tool specifically for the Low Rise industry that allows companies like Mattamy Homes to virtually build their projects before they go to the actual building site – increasing the quality of drawings, resulting in less discrepancies between what is sold, estimated and build.

Co-founder ‘Joris Raaijmakers’ will host an event for the CNBPA at their office downtown Toronto, where he will give an insight what they create for clients and how it looks (very visual & you don’t need to be an engineer!). Joris is a BIM expert, who gained most of his experience in the Dutch construction industry and is also teaching BIM at George Brown College.

The session will start at 6pm at their office (above Belfast Love pub, 2nd floor in the end of the hallway, suite 205). From 7:30pm onwards, we will go downstairs to Belfast Love for drinks and networking. Late comers are welcome to join there too.

Pizza will be provided at the session and attendees of the session will be provided with two drink tickets for Belfast Love. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday January the 29th!
