Come out and enjoy an evening with your colleagues from the legal industry in the GTA.  Feel free to invite others who might enjoy this event.

*Lisa Stam is an employment lawyer, practicing all aspects of employment, labour, privacy, and human rights law, with a particular interest in legal issues arising from technology in the workplace. Lisa’s practice includes a wide range of entrepreneurs in the tech space, as well as global companies with smaller operations in Canada. In addition to the day to day workplace issues from hiring to firing, Lisa frequently blogs and speaks on both the impact, risks and opportunities of social media and technology issues in (and out of) the workplace, as well as the novel ways in which changing expectations of privacy continues to evolve employment law.  Lisa spent 3 years in union-side boutiques, 7 years at one of the largest global law firms advising global employers, co-founded Koldorf Stam LLP in 2014, and now represents both employers and employees.  Lisa graduated from Dalhousie Law School, after completing an undergraduate degree in medieval history at the University of Toronto.  

*Sean Robichaud was called to the Ontario bar in 2005. After completing his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, he continued his studies at the Queen’s Law School until he obtained his LL.B. (J.D.) in 2004.  In 2013, Mr. Robichaud obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Osgoode Hall Specialization Program in Criminal Law and Procedure.
Mr. Robichaud is a Certified Specialist in criminal law by the Law Society of Upper Canada.  The Law Society recognizes Certified Specialists as “members of the Law Society who have met established standards of experience and knowledge requirements in one or more designated areas of law and have maintained exemplary standards of professional practice.”
He started his career in 2004 with the highly reputable and formidable criminal law firm of Pinkofskys.  After articles, he remained with the firm to be hired back as an associate and then quickly became partner. In 2009, he left the firm to start his own and has now grown it the ideal size it is today.
Mr. Robichaud has successfully defended and obtained acquittal verdicts for individuals charged with offences ranging from possession of marijuana to first-degree murder.
The primary focus of the practice and his interest is in areas of sexual assault, domestic violence, homicide, impaired driving, and drug offences.
Sean Robichaud is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada,  the Advocate’s Society, The Canadian Bar Association, and a former Toronto Director of the the Criminal Lawyers Association.
