The CNBPA and the Weather Network invite you on February 15, 2017 from 7 - 9 PM to come and take a look behind the scenes of how weather forecasts are created and presented at Canada's to go to brand for all your weather forecasts and more. Did you know that The Weather Network is Canada's 4th most trusted brand? Program:

• History of the Weather Network;
• How is a forecast created;
• Overview of the National Alert Ready Area. What is the purpose of Alert ready (eg Amber alerts), its history and importance to the community;
• Observe the briefing desk and control room. What are the functions in this space;
• Go into the studio and become an On Camera Presenter. Prizes to be won!
• Social at Jack Astors incl. 1 drink.
